Hey everyone,
I have a gigabyte ga-f2a75m-hd2 mobo and 2x4GB HyperX Fury Blue DDR3 1333MHz. The problem is that when I try to use both RAMs' or just one in the second socket (I assure that both RAMs' are working) when I turn on the pc BIOS won't boot up and I just get black screen. I can't identify the problem by beep troubleshooter( because of this http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3621084/chassis-front-speaker.html#20610170 ). Has my my second RAM socket fried or been damaged or can I somehow fix this? I have been using this setup for nearly 3 years now.
Thanks for any help!

If you verified both sticks are working correctly then the slot is more than likely dead.

What was the reason for removing your RAM.?
You haven't tried to mix or add modules have you.?

If they were working before with no issue and this issue is now happening then you may have contamination in the DIMM slot.
Before you consider it a dead slot, Blow out the slot with compressed air from a canister and clean the DIMM terminals with Isopropyl alcohol 95%. Do this only with no power to the MB.
You can test your RAM with Memtest86 from a USB.

I changed my pc case (tried RAMs' out of case too, but same result).

Not quite sure what you mean with this, but I only used these two RAM modules for 3 years now and in the same slots (because my mobo only has 2).

Thanks for advice, will do this now and answer with results!

I have medical cleaning wipes which contain: 1-Isopropyl alcohol; 2-Isopropyl alcohol and ethanol, so can I use this instead?

Yes that will be OK to use. It's just that Isopropyl Alcohol used as rubbing alcohol contains oil traces.
If you used modules from a single kit then that's OK. You can have issues by mixing modules from differing kits.

I cleaned the slot with those wipes I mentioned earlier and still no good - won't boot with RAM in the 2nd slot. I also tested both RAMs' with the program you advised (Memtest86), both without any errors. So I guess my 2nd slot is really dead :(. Thanks for your help though!
