Hi guys,
I am upgrading my PC shortly and I am re-using my current case, its pretty old (7 years) but its good enough to keep. Its an INWIN Mana 136.
I will swap out the current two fans, because after so long they are a bit noisy and probably don't work as well as they used to. For the rear of the case I will get a 120mm PWM fan. (currently its a 120mm 3 pin fan). For the front I am thinking of getting the same again 120mm PWM (currently its a 120mm molex).
Just looking around though, it seems common to use a uncontrolled fan for the intake (100% all the time) meaning molex would probably be better and also a lot cheaper, does anyone have any recommendations for the intake? Would prefer to spend a couple of dollars more for a controlled fan to reduce noise but only if it wont cause airflow issues.
