Have the VerizonLG Zone 3. Android 5.5.1. Over time, a number of apps are launching at power on. Want to restrict this but do not want to install another app to control the ones I have. Guidance sought

You can disable or uninstall the apps that are starting. If you are talking about the Verizon built-in stuff, you would need to root your phone.
