I have seen these two mobos in a store. Both are new, yet the former sells for 10$ less. However, when I compared both, LX V2 seemed better to me. Apparently the only thing at which LX3 is better is ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 and Fan Xpert instead of Q-Fan. Could someone explain the reason of the price gap?

LX V2 40$

  • Supports CPU up to 125 W
    1 x Parallel ports
    2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
    6 x SATA 3Gb/s ports
    10 x USB 2.0 ports

    Realtek®, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller

    + Turbo Key
    + Ai Charger
    + ASUS Q-Fan
    - ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3

LX3 50$

  • Supports CPU up to 95 W
    0 x Parallel ports
    1 x PCIe 2.0 x1
    4 x SATA 3Gb/s ports
    8 x USB 2.0 ports

Qualcomm Atheros 8161/8171, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller

    - Turbo Key
    - Ai Charger
    + ASUS Fan Xpert
    + ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3

Thanks in advance.

supply and demand, maybe there is something wrong with the way it was built maybe more prone to crashing? /shrug

if your current system is not dead, then wasting any money on it is madness

put it towards a new build

This may be a bit hard te explain. But yeah, while I may actualy consider ryzen (or anything newer than AM3+) I am still just curious about why a card that seems better in every way is cheaper. Am I missing something?
