i have an ocz agility ssd as main drive (only os is there) for about 4 years
about month ago after getting to the desktop everything would freeze after 15 seconds or so,rebooting and the problem persist, tried safe mode, same thing.
got the ssd utility from ocz and hdd utility for my second drive (got it near christmas) and both are fine, ssd actually 97% healthy after so much time, which surprised me a lot =D
After several reboots i tried to attach another drive to boot from but didnt change the boot sequence, strangely the freeze disappeared so i left it as it is and forgot about it.
Now,about a month after,i went out for a couple of hours and was greeted with a bsod (pc was on) so its the same exact problem as before but i have a bsod after some time freeze is in effect.
The ssd is still at 97% but it may be failing?

update: i went for work and after about 10h it booted with no problems whatsoever again :??:

I've got a 2009 Intel X25-M that's still going strong so don't be too surprised. :)

If you really think that the freezing problem is the SSD then I would secure erase it and reinstall your OS and programs. I've done it a couple time on the X25 and it makes it like new.

I have found many times that an unexpected source of trouble can be quite hard to find. Recently, my DP output from my 1080Ti was just shutting off. After trying many many things and uninstalling lots of MS updates (W7) it turned out to be Firefox 57 (of course one of the last things I tried) -- went back to the ESR release and all fixed.
