I want to installing 8 pin ATX connector on my ASUS H170-M plus motherboard with CPU i5 6402p RAM crucial 8 GB DDR 4.I m running Nvidia GT 610 2 GB graphics card on this ASUS board and components.Whole build working fine with 4 pin ATX.My pc build genuinely need 8 pin ATX power for working more effectively with this graphics card?

Solution
The 8-pin EPS cable is for additional stable power for CPU and that's needed when you: 1. OC your CPU 2. Have higher TDP CPU, starting from 95W e.g Core i7.
Since you have Core i5 in there which is 65W and you can't OC it, it works just fine with only 4-pin EPS power cable connected.
