How many computers can run Windows 7

Solution
So long as you are running the VMs on a system that has a valid activation, you should be able to run an unlimited number of VMs. I've got four different ones set up in Virtualbox right now on my primary machine and have not had any activation or limitation issues so far. Previously that worked for Windows 8.1 and currently for WIn 10. I don't know that Win 7 should be any different if you're in a VM.

Edit: According to this, the number is four of them.
