Hey there.
I was wondering if you guys could help me out and diagnose what's wrong.
My pc was working great for a few years now with no issues. I went on a 2 week vacation.
When I came back, I wanted to play some overwatch. My pc crashed saying something about graphics error. Then it wouldn't go through POST and kept on constantly rebooting not even getting to the windows logo. I managed to get into bios and reinstall windows. Everything was working until I installed the graphics card driver and there go the reboots again. Is it broken or are there some ways of fixing it? Thanks in advance!

Solution
If it's now a new install of Windows and a clean installation of the video card driver, and it's still happening... the next thing I would try is to remove the video card and clean the contacts w/ 90% alcohol(or alcohol wipes), then re-install it and see what happens. Another less likely thing(but still a possibility) is the thermal paste. Since it's an older card, the paste on the GPU may be worn. I'd try cleaning it off and re-applying new paste. Also, if the fan(s) on the card are really dirty... clean them out. Make sure they still spin fine as well.

I've just tried cleaning contacts and it didn't help. I will buy thermal paste tomorrow and post on the results I get. Thanks for the help!
