GTX 979, No signal. But on board works fine..

So I just got a new MOBO, CPU and RAM.
Already had the GTX. But now when I switch on my PC I get on my monitor “no signal detected”. It was working fine before taking apart the build. Am I in trouble? Is there anything I can try..

This you may have already done, but make sure you plugged in the video cable (dvi, hdmi, etc) in the gpu, not the mobo I/o ports
