Hi guys,

Some reason 4gb ram is showing in the hardware reserved. My bios is showing both ram.
I tried already: Msconfig, clear cmos, updated bios, tested both slots and sticks one at time.

They were working fine before.

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2X4 GB) -
CPU: AMD-FX-6300
mobo: asrock 880gm-le fx
gpu: Geforce GTX 1060
Windows 7 64
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3

Thanks.

From the board manual:"For dual channel configuration, you always need to install two identical (the same brand, speed, size and chip-type)
memory modules in the DDR3 DIMM slots to activate Dual Channel Memory Technology. Otherwise, it will operate at single channel mode "

Both rams are the same.

Bios is saying the same thing as cpu-z, saying single channel memory.

It says "Hardware reserved" thats an indicator that your BIOS has reserved 4GB's of your Ram for Video Memory
Your asrock 880GM-le-fx has "Onboard Video"
and this must be disabled...

"integrated AMD Radeon HD 4250 graphics"
"Primary Graphics Adapter
This item will switch the PCI Bus scanning order while searching for video
card. It allows you to select the type of Primary VGA in case of multiple
video controllers. The default value of this feature is [PCI]. Configuration
options: [PCI], [Onboard] and [PCI Express]."

under the Chipset configuration > Advanced> Graphics..
make sure PCI express is the only 1 selected.
Disable all shared memory as well.

Done. https://gyazo.com/c5b9e7a6719a2459159a70d6523435d6 Sadly, it didn't fix my problem. There is no disable option for "shared memory" I did disable internal graphics mode though and change to PCIE

Did you buy these modules TOGETHER, in a matched set, or individually, separately?

I'd try removing the memory, cleaning the teeth lightly with isopropyl alcohol or a clean pencil eraser, and then reinstalling them, making sure to fully seat them in the DIMM slots. This probably isn't the problem, but I have SEEN it be the problem once or twice on finicky systems.

Are you 100% certain that you are running 64bit Windows? I've seen a great many people that WERE running 64bit versions, that accidentally put 32bit versions on when reinstalling for whatever reason. Mistakes happen. It just takes one wrong click to install the wrong version.

You might also want to reset the bios AND make sure you have the MOST recent bios version installed. Removing the cmos battery, with power disconnected, and then reinstalling it, reconnecting power, going into the bios and resetting the default configuration, can often correct a number of hardware related issues from memory configurations to graphics card recognition.

Making sure you are on the latest bios is a good idea too. OFTEN bios revisions are released specifically to improve memory compatibility and configuration problems.

This will at least speed up boot timing..
What happens when you install 1 stick of Ram? Does it reserve 2Gbs? or does it still say 4?
Reading below Darkbreeze had some good idea's as well.
Check Windows 64 bit version...Clean DIM Slot

Reviewing your CPU-z it's showing as "Single" channel... not Dual.. that could be an issue...

Can you screen shot your MSINFO32
