I inherited several computers from my brother when he died almost 5 years ago. One is an Acer Aspire One. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium, but he installed what appears to be several Ubuntu OS software. I was able to get past the Windows password, but I have no clue how to get past Ubuntu, plus I have no need for it. I tried doing a reset to factory settings. It worked great, but just on the Windows 7. I don't care to know what he had saved in his files (a little scared to know). I've taken it on several vacations to use to put my photos on to upload to the cloud. Well the thought come to me that if I possess illegal stuff, although not mine, I could be in trouble. A friend suggested replacing the hard drive, but I thought I'd try to just delete it. But I can't figure it out. HELP!
