My computer randomly restarts..I.ve had this problem for more than a year now. At first I tought it was an overheating issue but I remember that I checked the temps and they were fine. Its strange thst the pc restarts when playing higher end games like GTA V and modded skyrim...
Note that on League of Legends it RARELY closes. RARELY. But wen I play GTA V i can play it for 20-30 min Max before restarting. Its guaranteed restart.

Sometimes when it starts booting up after a restart it reboots again. Sometimes it does this for like 3 to 4 times. Sometimes it just stays closed and I HAVE TO SMACK IT to power on. When it boots up I get a message:

Power supply surges detected during thr previous power on.
ASUS anti surge was triggered to protect systemfor unstable power unit.
And then I have to go through the bios to boot it.

Is this a psu problem? Everything isnew except the cpu.

Rx 480
8gb ram
I5 3470
W10

I dont remember the power supply but its new. Ill update on the psu when i get home..

Yup. That is an unknown brand and likely gives MUCH below 650W. It has also been documented to give the same issues. Pretty horrible actually.

Replace it asap with a quality unit from Seasonic, EVGA or Corsair. Put what you choose here so we can advise whether it is a good option.

Ok. Thanks for helping. And because im only 14 years old i'd have to wait a couple of months to stack up the money for a new psu. If I manage to do something I'll update. Thanks!

Until then, I would stay off the PC for a bit, or just do web browsing and light work. Nothing to stress the GPU and CPU because it can get fried due to the lack of power.

The thing is... I said that i had to move the computer in order to start again. And sometimes it stops when i move it if its turned on. I swapped the rams and reconnected every cable.. Since yesterday it didn't shut down. I played GTA V for 2 hours and Skyrim for 5-6 hours without closing. I find this strange because every time i send my pc for reparation it doesnt shut down for like 2 weeks. Maybe a cable is slowly disconnecting itself over time? I dont know =))

Doubt it. Let us see with a new PSU how it turns out.

Should I send this one to warranty cause I read some reviews and they say it works perfectly on their ''high end'' computers and it has real protections........ or should I buy a new one?

Either of the three has happened, or all has happened:
1) Reviews can be faked.
2) They do not have "high - end" computers.
3) They are lucky.

Get a new PSU.

Here are your stories for your old PSU:

Your PSU has good ratings on commercial websites. Sounds like its reviews are being fixed.
