I'm switching to liquid cooling. A cosair H60. My case is a cosair spec-02. I have six fan spot. 2 in front 2 on top one 1 the bottom and 1 on the rear. I currently have 4 fans. What would be the best way to set up my case fans. Assuming my cpu liquid cooling exhuast fan would go on the rear.

4 fans seems pretty optimal to me.

I'd opt for 2 intake in the front, the radiator exhausting at the rear, and probably one exhaust on top.
While the rad/exhaust fan will still be moving some air out of the case, it might struggle with temps a little as the only exhaust - so a top mounted exhaust would likely help.

With case fan layouts though, there's different goals. You can seek better temps, positive/negative air pressure etc, so you may wish to consider testing them in various configs for what'll work better for you specifically.

Alot of the research I have done recommends using the fan mounted to the rad to be a intake. Then I would use to top exhaust and a bottom and front intake.

Intakes to the Rad would be ideal, but IIRC, the H60's tubing is quite short and, in most cases is going to be tough to mount to the front of a case where an intake would be preferred.

You could mount on the top, as intake, but you may interfere with VRMs or DIMM slots.

Yeah that is what i was talking about. I would have 3 intake; my rear connected to my rad, a bottom and a front and 2 exhaust on the top
