Hello guys, good night!

So.. the thing is, i want to buy in a near future a new power supply for my config that allows me to do cable management, get more energy efficiency and allows me to do future upgrades.

That said, i want a 850 W power suplly that is Modular or Semi-Modular.

Some people said me this one is ok: Cooler Master 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular - RS850-AFBAG1

but it is a little bit too explensive where i live as you can see below (BRAZIL BTW).

https://www.kabum.com.br/produto/62288/fonte-cooler-master-850w-80-plus-gold-modular-rs850-afbag1

So, i want something that is almost as good as it and dont will give me any headache or something like that

My config is:

I7 6770k,
16 (4x4) GB RAM DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 2800hmz,
Corsair H105 WC,
Asus Z170 Deluxe,
Gygabity GTX 970 Windforce + Black Plate,
4 HD120 RGB Fans,
1TB HDD Hard Drive Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache,
XFX 650W PRO EDITION Power Supply.

I live in brazil BTW.

OBS: If there is nothing with a good performance below the cost of the RS850-AFBAG1 Power Supply from CoolerMaster, i can work with that cost, being this the highest price acceptable.

Thank you all very much.

Ahh. was asking cause u sent a link to a brazilian store. The price difference is justified or for its value the V series still wins? Any related cases of Coil Whine on the Corsair Power Supply?

Cause of the energy efficiency... As far as i know, when the power supply reaches 50% of consumption it gets the maximum efficiency and the lower noise. In greater futures I can also get more money and take a 1x80 ti or something like that.

utterly insane reason to replace your perfectly fine power supply, especially given the insane prices in brazil

use the money towards a gpu upgrade

650w already allows for this, gpu's get MORE efficient as generations pass

a gtx 1080 ti would happily run on your current psu

XD

A PSU may be more efficient at a 10% load than another PSU at a 50% load simply because it's a better PSU. Also, you aren't factoring in idle loads, where Power supplies are generally less efficient there the higher the wattage.

Your system power consumption at a gaming load is ~260w, even a good 550w unit would be efficient.

Well, there is one more reason for the change, ome that isn't the cable management. When i was installing my HD 120 rgb fans LEDS on the hub controller a smoke (like the ones from fire) started to leave from the HUB. I don't know if it's a power supply issue or a HUB issue and that made me worry.

A small piece of the HUB cable melted.
