Your system ram is DDR2, this has nothing to do with what videocards you can use. If you were to buy new system ram then it's useful to know that you need to buy DDR2 ram.

Your motherboard is what determines what videocards you can use. As long as the motherboard has a pci-ex x16 slot then you can use most of the videocards that have been made in the last ten years or so. Your motherboard has this slot. There are a couple of other considerations.

One, power. If you have a basic 300W power supply, then you'll need to stick to cards which require 75W of power or less. They get this power through the motherboard pci-ex slot, which makes them ideal for you. Next, considering the age of your computer, I'd avoid the newest cards. These...

I'm sorry to say you ain't going anywhere with that CPU and only 2gb or RAM.
Any low end card would bottleneck.

My suggestions if you really want to upgrade

Used Gtx 750ti
New gt 1030
New/ used gt 710

these cards require very little power since i presume thats an old prebuilt and has a max of 300watt PSU.

Your mobo needs a PCIe x16 slot

These cards tend to work best with newer motherboards. Look to the used market for something like an HD 7750. The Nvidia GT 730 DDR5 is a newer card that would also work. Check the amount of space you have in your case, you may need to pick a low profile card if the case is small.
