FPS stuttering while playing games.
SPECS:
Mobo - ASUS Crosshair VI hero x370
Ram - corsair dominator platinum 2x8gbs
CPU - ryzen 1700x
Cooler - corsair h100i v2
GPU - EVGA geforce gtx 1080 ftw
PSU - corsair hx850i (refurbished)
Storage - samsung 250 gb ssd and WD 1tb blue
I have had this PC a while and this issue has been on going since i have build it (summer of 2017). I thought i had the issue figured out but i didn't know it was still here because i has playing unoptimized games like PUBG. It was until i started to play Prey and Divinity Original sin 2 is when it became apparent the problem had not gone away. When playing games no matter what settings it is on ( low resolution, low graphics ect.) i have this horrible stuttering and frame drops. It should be noted that i do not have any issues when i run Unigine: Heaven or Furmark. And on the cpu side no issue when i run Cinebench either. All temps are fine.
I have tried everything i could find on the internet. I got a new GPU, reinstalled windows, deleted all drivers and reinstalled them,downloaded all necessary chip set drivers, switched pci slots, used different power cables, tried different hard drives. Nothing seems to do the trick. i have provided some screen caps of msi afterburner if that helps. I also have a video of the issue as well if needed
