ok so i bought the ASRock AB350 Pro4 motherboard and duel channel Corsair Vengeance LPX
the Corsair Vengeance LPX is duel channel 8 gb and in the futher i was 16 gb
but people are saying duel is better then quad
so will 4 + 4 have better performance then 4 + 4 + 4 + 4?
or will they both have the same exact performance?
(the motherboard i think only supports duel but has 4 slots)
( also idc about the price so please dont tell me its better buying a 8 + 8)

Solution

You'd probably have same performance, both run in dual channel, doesn't matter if you go for 4*4.

Firstly, quad channel is better than double channel, which is better than single.
Quad channel will have better memory bandwidth due to increased tensions on them.

EDIT: Seems like your motherboard supports only upto Dual channel mode, so 8+8 or 16+16 or something similar upto 64GB is supported by your motherboard at its best, only through dual channel mode.

Your 4+4 will also work.

youre right. your board doesnt support quad-channel. its only for x99 boards currently.
this board supports RAM up to 64Gb for people who needs more amount of it than its speed/efficieny.
if youre not a content creator, and you just wwanna play games just go for the 2x8Gb RAM. even tho your board supports up to 4 slots.
