Solution
Hello,

I believe you can upgrade your current system to play the newest games on your 1080p 60Hz monitor.

First, we will need to know what size case you have to determine if a full size GPU will fit. ALso, whether or not you have upgraded the power supply before. If it is the stock power supply I would replace it. If you've upgraded it before please tell us what model it is.

Solution
graphics card is a weak spot in your system .
throw in gtx 1050Ti (at least) or gtx 1060 and you will have tremendously better gaming experience .
buying some ssd (at least 128gb) and reinstall your operating system on it would also give your pc a "new life"
adding an extra 8gb of ram will also help (but it is not nearly as important as to replace your graphics card) .
what power supply and what case do you have ?
