Hi I need some help. I just bought a wd 3D nand 500gb ssd. My bios recognizes it but my OS wont. Ive checked disk manager and its not there. Even tried the diskpart clean from the command prompt and still didnt work. I have a msi 870-G45 motherboard that im running in 0 raid. id like to get the the OS to recognise the drive so i can clone it, but right now i cant even get it to recognize it for a clean install

It's not being seen in Windows because it doesn't have any partitions on it. However, if you're going to clone onto it you don't need to put the partitions on it. Your cloning software will do that for you. Just boot the computer to your computer to the CD/DVD or USB drive that has the bootable cloning software, select the source drive (your old one) and target drives (the new SSD) and let it go.
