I have an Oculus Rift that I would like to use with my new computer. I already have 5 USB 3.1 ports but it would help a lot if I had an extra USB 3 card, since I only have one port left. Does anybody know about a good USB 3 PCIe card? Preferably under $50 and not using VIA drivers? I have had AWFUL experience without VIA USB 3 cards and Windows 10... Also, the card needs to have at least 3 ports on it.

Motherboard: MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 SC
RAM: 16 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400MHz
PSU: Cooler Master Masterwatt 650
HDD: Seagate ST2000DM006
SSD: Western Digital WDS512G1X0C

Let me know if you need any more information!

I use the 5-port version of this for the Rift:
https://www.amazon.com/Inateck-SuperSpeed-Ports-PCI-Expansion/dp/B00B6ZCNGM

I Run the headset and one sensor to the intel controller, other sensor to the other onboard controller, and all my other devices (game controller, ups, joystick, etc) to the pcie card.

I used the default windows driver for the pcie card as I had issues with getting the real drivers for the card to “stick” in Win 10. It would just keep forgetting the card was there.

Thank you so much! I bought that card and it works almost perfectly! The only issue I have is that one of the sensors says it's connected over USB 2, but it still works just fine I've learned from using Oculus software that if you can get it detected as USB 2, it's good enough and better to leave it than to risk screwing it up. xD Thanks again!
