Hello I'm wondering if If there would be any difference between these ram kits.

Both are c18 and 4000mhz but the gskill has 18-19-19-39 and the Team is 18-20-20-44. The Team is $40 cheaper, or should I stick with my c14 2400mhz ddr4 16gb ram. I currently have a 7700k and 1080ti and game in 1440p 165hz, but I will have a 8700k and Asrock z370 taichi in a few days. Any help is appeciated.

+ I want to go cheaper since I'll be removing the heatspreader to fit under my nhd15, thus voiding warranty, so cheaper is better in this case.

The team one will only run at 3866 while the Gskill @ 4000mhz is not listed for support, did you check the QVL?

This should replace the Gskill you listed it's just cheaper and rated at 4133mhz "Basically the same thing"
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 4133 (PC4 33000) F4-4133C19D-16GTZKW $289

As far as RAM speed goes in gaming 3200-3400 seems to be a sweet spot when your looking at performance gain per dollar spent price really increases past that point and what you gain is marginal maybe that will change with the next chipset.

I would go with gskill for its good reputation and reliability. Even though it is very unlikely that you get a ram stick to fail regardless of the brand, and I don't think you will notice a performance difference. So if you want to save money go with teamgroup.

Yes, it seems neither of my ram kits are listed, I don't think Asrock tested a 4000 rated kit from Team, a 3866 rated kit ran at 3866 according to the qvl. I have a feeling they just happened to not test either of my listed kits. I think I may go with team and save some $.
