Okay so my PC is doing okay with 4gb DDR3 (2×2) RAM just about enough to play at low or normal settings. But recently I'm upgrading my C2D to a Q8400 and I've a GT 730 which I plan to upgrade to 1030 later but I was wondering if I slap 8 gigabytes of RAM into it, would it take it? Like support it?

Solution
From Asrocks website http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/g41m-vs3/

- Dual Channel DDR3 memory technology
- 2 x DDR3 DIMM slots
- Supports DDR3 1333(OC)/1066/800 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
- Max. capacity of system memory: 8GB*

*Due to the operating system limitation, the actual memory size may be less than 4GB for the reservation for system usage under Windows® 32-bit OS. For Windows® 64-bit OS with 64-bit CPU, there is no such limitation.

**In order to maximize the system memory, please install 4GB memory module with 16 cells or 2GB memory modules with at least 8 cells.
