Hello all,
Not that long ago I experienced something weird on my desktop.
At one moment the Ethernet was perfectly fine, and at some point the I started up my pc and it was really, really slow. Still connected, just slow...
I tried changing the cable, which resulted in no changes and I tried swapping it with an other Sitecom homeplug (I think this is the one I use: https://www.sitecom.com/nl/wi-fi-homeplug-500-mbps-combo-pack/ln-555/p/1545)
When I tried swapping it with my brothers one, it still didn’t work. But my old one, which my brother has now, does work on his pc.
This gives me the idea that there is something wrong with my desktop.
Oh, and the homeplug gives a red light at the cable icon, which it never used to do.

Those are powerline adapters, with the biggest factor being the actual circuit/wiring.

Try another (working) device in the same location as your desktop, connected to the same outlet. I suspect you're wiring is going to play a factor here.
