SPECS:
CPU: AMD A10 7800
GPU: GTX 1050 TI
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 ( 1.35 V )
HDD: 2 TB
WIN: Windows 10 64 bit

I am thinking of buying a new CPU and at the moment replacing any other part is not possible.
I was thinking either AMD FX 8350 or I5 7400 or I3 7100. I know that mentioned Intel CPUs are showing better benchmarking results, but I am worried about the budget, because Intel LGA 1151 motherboards that support DDR3L are rare ( as far as I have heard ) or expensive. Is there a better option and if not, which of the listed CPUs should I get? My first thought was Ryzen, but due to the fact that I have DDR3L that is not possible. Budget at the time is around 300$.

Solution
Good build by Mandy. Alternately, a Ryzen build

Slightly weaker per-core performance in exchange for multithreading.

Cheers!

If you can stretch a bit, try to grab this:

CPU: Intel - Core i3-8100 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($127.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - Z370-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($101.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial - 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($83.89 @ OutletPC)

IMHO is not worth delaying even more the change to DDR4 and newer platform. If you can stretch your budget, you can try this one:

Thanks for the help! I will consider your recommendations. Just a question for the mentioned builds: will the performance with the mentioned builds be the same as if I would buy the i5 7400 for example, better or worse ( with a cheap motherboard )? The thing is that I am not planning for any upgrades after this build, at least for quite a while.
I just wanna know if the i5 option or your builds are reliable for 60+ fps med-high gaming today.

In games, the i3-8100 outperforms the 7400 by about 5% on average.

The 1500x (at stock clocks) outperforms the 7400 in games by 1-2%.
7400 vs. stock clocked 1500x: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgdphSd4Qpc

The latter comparison trades blows between games that use more than 4 threads and those that don't. If you overclock the 1500x, it pulls further ahead. The gap will likely continue to widen with newer games using 5+ threads.

The 7400 is a pretty decent CPU, from those builds i mentioned it's something like(gaming-wise): i3 8100 > i5 7400 > G4600. As for the comparison with the Ryzen build, see the other comment above.

While the 7400 is decent, it's the entry-level of the i5 series, with that said, it has a lower clock speed compared to it's brothers, like the 7600 or 7600K, so it will suffer a bit in the most crowded areas of CPU-Heavy games like GTA V or Battlefield 1, nothing that would reaaally impact perfomance IMHO, just a few FPS drops, but as your GPU is a 1050Ti i suppose you aren't not looking for Ultra settings, therefore the bottleneck would be negligible, it's a fair combination.

The reason i suggest going with the 8100 is that it gives you the top notch platform available atm, while the Kaby 7400 is a gen behind(if you're not a enthusiast and it's okay with not being with the current gen, not really a problem as well...)

If you get a 7400 and a cheap mobo, the cheapest you could find is a H110 with it's BIOS updated to support Kaby Lake CPUs, it's worth a shot if your budget is really tight. Still i would go with a 7600 + H110 + 8GB DDR4 in the scenario.

Cheers :)

Thanks for the clarification. So if I would take the i5 7400 build should that be ok? Or should I get the i3 7100? If needing to pick which of those do you recommend, and how long will it be able to sustain newer games? ( at med 60 fps ). I am not rushing to buy any of these parts any time soon but I think that replacing the ram will not get possible ( at least at this time ). I am considering to buy your build or the already mentioned, but I would need to replace the RAM for it. And only 2 x 4 GB DDR4 should be acceptable because I heard games like Bf1 choke if not using dual, which would stretch the budget even more. Like I said, I am not rushing, so if you know will there be a cheaper and better option in the future ( 5 - 6 months from now ), or will the builds mentioned be in the budget range, or lower if possible? Thanks for the help.

For gaming they are all about the same to be honest. I would pick the ryzen because it has more threads than both intel versions (There's a youtube video on this) of for multitasking (Maybe streaming and gaming) it will be better. Plus it comes with a better stock cooler, so you can do modest overclocks with a B350 motherboard.

Nah, the 7100 has only two cores, not worthy IMHO. The 8100 has 4.

I'd personally go with the best solution for gaming, which is the i3 8100. For any of the builds listed you will have to get DDR4 ram, as all of them require it. Forget about DDR3 or DDR3L, it's dead past.
Yup, BF1 do like dual-channel RAM. The only reason i added just one stick was to lower cost while keeping the possibility for you to get another stick in the future and enable the dual-channel.

Nevertheless, if the 8100 build is still too expensive, the Ryzen one is the best pick.

But, as you've claimed you're not going to get anything anytime soon, wait. Ryzen 2 is right around the corner and perhaps will cut costs or even provide better CPU for the same price.
