Your best advantage in online gaming like CSGO is always going to be the displays that are fastest, not the widest.
It really depends on your budget and GPU brand/model. Things like 144Hz, if you want to really get the most out of it, require a pretty powerful GPU. There are an increasing number of choices for both Nvdia and AMD now, and many sites have done benches on which are best for competitive gaming.

Since I have been using an HDTV vs monitor for many years now, and am at an age when it's been years since I gamed online, I've not closely followed whom has the most trusted or comprehensive benches on such things.
There are many sites that do it now though, just search for it.

Maybe you should wait until OP's GPU model is mentioned before you assume it can handle 144 Hz. This is part of the reason why I did not give any suggestions, the question was too vague.
