Why Does My Mobo Only Show One Stick of RAM Active? (SOLVED)

I have my new Windows build up and running, and while it boots up just fine, in BIOS it only shows me one stick of RAM is being recognized. Here is what I have running:

Windows 10 Home Pro (64bit)
ASUS B-350M-A mobo
AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU
Crucial Ballistix RAM (2x8GB)

I was told by an ASUS rep to plug the RAM into both gray slots for it to work (there are two black slots and two gray slots) and still only one stick seems to be recognized. The mobo does accommodate up to 16GB of RAM, so I'm puzzled as to why it won't recognize more than the one stick. Is it a Windows 10 thing?

Solution

I did and finally figured out what slots to use, and now both are seen in BIOS just fine. Thank you!
