Fan LED's Quick Question

I hate the stock fan LED's that my case came with (Deepcool tesseract).....
I heard I can just cut one of the wires and it will turn the lights off.
orange, black, or red, which one can I cut to kill the lights and regain my 7-8 hour nights of rest.

HUGE thank you to whoever knows the answer to this right off the bat.

Also, another quick question, is it bad to just put pc on sleep and hit a key to wake it up constantly (for weeks) and also do I really need to hit the power button after I sleep/shutdown my pc on the monitor or can I just leave the monitor on standby....

just leave the monitor on standby. Regarding sleep, there is a difference between sleep/restart, restart (using settings->power button icon->restart) and Shut Down (using settings->power button->Shut Down). I'm impressed that your computer keeps working after weeks of not powering down. I come from a time when a hard shutdown was a requirement for running Windows (I lie not), so I'm inclined to shut my computers off when I go to bed. Win10 does different things for each mode: it wouldn't hurt to shut your computer down every few days or so.
