Hello Guys, I have a Ryzen 1300x with a single 8gb memory stick. I guess i'm losing 15-30 fps because of that bug of "SINGLE CHANNEL" on Ryzen CPU's... my question is, I don't have money to buy another 8gb, can I buy a 4gb and put 8gb + 4gb and fix that "stupid bug from Ryzen" ?

MOBO: B350M (msi)
CPU: Ryzen 1300x
GPU: 1060 6gb G1
RAM: 1x 8GB Corsair ValueSelect 2400mhz

NO. Your system will NOT run in dual channel with one 4gb and one 8gb module installed. Single channel isn't a "bug", it's a configuration problem. Memory generally runs at double the bandwidth with two matched or compatible modules running in dual channel, which effectively makes it faster. You can possibly add another 4gb and you MIGHT get 4+4gb in flex mode which allows dual channel for the 4+4 and then single channel for the remaining leftover 4gb, but there are no guarantees that your board supports that, especially since we have no idea what board you have or what the model numbers of your memory are.

B350m is not a model number.

Furthermore, it is practically unlikely that it will work in dual channel if you do not use another...

Furthermore, it is practically unlikely that it will work in dual channel if you do not use another 8gb module with VERY similar, if not exact, specifications as the memory module you currently have installed. My advice would be to not waste your money on a 4gb module and instead save up until you can get another module exactly like the one you have now.

Tks for your rapid answer man, the MOBO is MSI Bazooka B350M, but I will bought the same 8gb memory to fix that, hope it worth the money, getting a bit disapointed about Ryzen CPU and I just upgrade it today.

It really is not Ryzen, modern PC's all have dual channel.

Correct. This is not a "RYZEN" issue, it is a "memory" issue, and is the same situation for practically ALL modern computer systems that support dual, triple or quad channel memory operation. Which is most all of them at least on the consumer side of things.
