I’m having issues with my computer, Ryzen 5 1600
Msi b350 tomahawk plus
Corsair vengeance ddr4 2400
Msi gaming x 1060 6gb

When I turn it on everything lights up but it doesn’t display. I know that the hdmi cable works and so does my monitor. I’m able to get into the bios if I reseat the cpu but if I try to boot normally it shuts down and I have to reseat it again to get into the bios again. Every debug light will briefly show up then go away before getting into bios. The bios says everything is there yet when I try to boot normally it will shut down and I have to try again like stated before. Help!

Other part related things are,
Did you do a clear cmos? After that load the optimized default values.
Put the ram in the second and fourth slot from the cpu, might try one stick at a time in the second.
Looked at the cpu for bent pins? (enough tutorials online)
Updated the bios to the latest?

yes you can. if you can connect your HDD to that different computer (SATA cable or USB to SATA adapter), you will need to do the following to retrieve your license if you lost your license key.

Okay, I’ve still got the key as well as the flash drive from when I bought windows. Also, how could this affect my issue with having to reseat the cpu every time I want to get into the bios?
