So, I recently completely erased this laptop/tablet so I could fresh install windows. I have installed windows 10 64 bit twice, and can't seem to be able to have access to WiFi in the laptop. I tried turning the WiFi within the pc, but it acts as if it has no Network driver, so I went to the drivers page and downloaded it, installed it and still I can't get it to work.

PC turns on, boots windows 10 but can't do anything because it wont connect to the internet, am I installing the wrong Windows? is there something I should be doing in BIOS or something? what could this be?

Can you get into the BIOS? https://techjourney.net/ways-to-enter-bios-in-toshiba-tecra-satellite-portege/ That will tell you whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit system. It is probably a 64-bit system, and if you're lazy you can just try to install it. If it's not 64-bit, it will tell you you've been a bad boy and make you get the correct (32-bit) version.

BTW, just out of curiosity, what exactly are you trying to install the OS on?

This is the windows you should be installing: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

If you are doing a clean install of Windows like you say you are (use the "custom" selection, not any other choice) you should be asked to connect to a wifi signal that is available to you. If it's not asking, then your computer is not sensing the wifi, which means the wifi card is not working (Win10 automatically installs a basic wifi card driver that should work with almost any card made). If you absolutely cannot get it to connect via wifi, then you are going to have to connect it via an ethernet cable.

after it installs, the very first thing you should do is this: settings->Update & Security->Windows Update->Check for updates
