Intel Core i5 6600k 3.5 gigahertz
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060
Seasonic 80+ Certified Bronze 550 W PSU
H110M Pro-D Mother Board
Case : CoolerMaster Elite 431 Black / Blue Mid-Tower Gaming Case

My RAM is very generic, I believe Kingston 4gb x 2 (Don't Know Exactly)
I want RAM thats for gaming on a budget of about $100-$200. Everytime I try and play PUBG or any of the newer games, 90% of my ram is being used.

IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY PC JUST ASK WILL BE HAPPY TO PROVIDE IT IF I CAN. :D

There is no such thing as "budget" RAM these days. Your board supports DDR4-2133Mhz memory. If you want to game, you need name brand RAM from the likes of Corsair, G.Skill, Crucial, Kingston etc. that runs at the max your board supports. You're going to pay around $100 for 2x4GB and around $180 for 2x8GB. That's just the way it is.

can you show us how your RAM looks like first while you are playing PUBG? press winkey+s. type "resource monitor". screenshot your memory tab. share it on imgur and paste the link here. PUBG isnt optimized properly and you may be experiencing memory leaks.

Firstly, you don't need any of what you said to game. That CPU can perform well with low level ram.
Those name brands won't make a difference besides support, and aesthetics. Pretty much all ram comes from three OEMs, which are all fine for Intel.

Ram is ram. It's all the same at default speeds. Some ram is slightly better binned, and can hold a faster speed stable, and some ram had fancy but unnecessary heatsinks, but the IC chips are still the same chips, whether they are Micron, Samsung or SkHynix.
If you are maxing out ram, the obvious answer is get a 16Gb kit, pick a color you like, and 2400 is fine for that cpu.

hmmm...yeah, I'll remember that, the next time I put RAM in a gamer's pc that's going to overclock. I supposed those fancy aluminum covers are just for show, right...? You want stability, you pay the price, one way or the other...

Mainly yes, they are just for show, especially with the draft created by stock or downdraft style heatsinks. But default speed ram really has no use for heatsinking, almost all pre-built pc's use plain-jane un-shielded ram and have for years, even during the days of the heat monster p4's. Most of the reason for the heatsinks is just aesthetics appeal, someplace to stick a big brand label. The only ram that really gets any usage out of heatsinks is highly oc'd ram that's used under pressure or moderately oc'd ram used with an aio. Otherwise, there should be more than enough airflow in any 'gamers' case to compensate for heat expenditure.

I've been using the task manager to check RAM usage. Is that fine or should I do what you recommend?

Yea, I heard something about how RAM is overpriced as of right now, from one of my buddies.

I know I have a decent CPU but it does feel choppy and slow when I try to run newer titles such as PUBG, Uncharted, The Evil Within 2, etc... I feel as if it's the RAM's fault.

you still havent showed us how your RAM looks like while you are playing. when you are experiencing choppiness, alt tab and open your Resource Monitor. memory tab. and screenshot that. and upload to imgur. and share the link here.
