Hi all, I’m beginning my first PC build, and would like bluntly honest opinions on the part list I’ve picked out, (possible compatibility issues etc) my chosen part list is as follows:
Ryzen 5 1600
Pure rock slim CPU cooler
ASUS strix B350-F atx am4 motherboard
(Possibly) G.Skill tridentZ DDR4 2400 2x8GB ram?
For storage I’m looking at a 500gb 2.5” ssd + a 1tb HDD 3.5” (can I raid these two together?)
A GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB SC GamIng ACX 2.0 video card
And for the power supply a Supernova G2 650w modular unit?

As for the case I’ve gone budget, as I wanted to save money for the parts, I went for a CiT 3 dragon Mid sized case.

Thoughts?
Sorry if anything I’ve said seems stupid, this is a complete first for me, and used Pcpartpicker to find the parts.
Thanks :)

Solution
I would stick to stock CPU cooler over the one you choose.
GSkill RAM should be ok, but you want it faster, 2666 Mhz at minimum.
GPU would be better, but of course with current prices it's not realistic expectation.
Motherboard and PSU are good. Case is personal thing and does not matter that much unless you plan to OC, in which case cheap one can limit your max OC due to poor airflow.

Will the stock cooler cope reliably on a gaming PC?
