So, in my recent efforts to build the cheapest decent PC possible, I bought a Dell Optiplex 980 SFF mobo to go along with my 1st gen i5 Quad-core. Little did I realize it was a BTX form factor, and I don't feel like buying another mobo so I guess I'm stuck with this. Couple questions:

1. Are there any decent BTX or ATX/BTX cases on the market I can get for good price?

2. Could a BTX case fit a decent gpu/power supply?

Also, is there any way I could possibly MacGyver the 980 into an ATX or mATX case? Thanks.

Kind of stuck with what you've got. They basically don't make aftermarket cases in BTX.

Problem with hacking BTX into an ATX case would basically be needing to remove the entire rear panel. And then swap the I/O shield and expansion slot locations. Just not that practical. You could just cut the back off a case I suppose, maybe make a simple backplate to prevent dust or pests from getting in.

Maybe you can mod a Thermaltake Core V21 cube
