Getting temperatures readings of my cpu at 100C. Intel i7-4790k

Hello so I have been using software to check my CPU temps and the readings say that it is at around 100c which isnt normal for any CPU. Even when I just turned on my PC the readings are still the same at 100C. When I check the BIOS it says that the temp is really low like at 11C but as soon as I check with any software it says that its really high I have used Real Temp and Speed Fan. Do you guys know how I can fix it?

Thanks for answering so I downloaded the application and I get the same temp readings. I went to the sensor section and I'm not sure where to check if the CPU fan is running. Any tip where it is? There is one thing under the motherboard section it says that the CPU fan and Chassis 1 are running at a certain RPM.

Also its worth noting that my PC is around 3 years old and I haven't changed the thermal paste
