No HDMI output on new build. VGA/DVI work fine. On-Board GPU

Hey guys,

having a few issues with a new pc ive built.

now i actually built 2 of these machines (identical parts), but im only having issues with 1 of them.

I cant seem to get the hdmi port to work. I get VGA and DVI fine, and when i plug in a hdmi monitor, it shows as detected, but doesnt output a signal (tried 2 monitors, one just acts as if nothing is there, the other said "HDMI out of range. 67.4kHz / 182Hz".

I reinstalled windows 10,reset the bios, gave the bios a flash, downloaded latest drivers,etc.. but it doesnt even show POST.

I thought perhaps the motherboard may be faulty,but have just installed a new one (identical model) and am still having this issue.

specs are:
ASRock B250M Pro4 motherboard
i7 7700 CPU
2x 16Gb G.Skill F4-2400C15D DDR4 Ram
Intel 540 Series M.2 1Tb SSD
Windows 10 Home 64Bit
500W Thermaltake PSU

any help would be so greatly appreciated.

For those wondering it was the CPU.. it was faulty. While it worked perfectly in every other way, it wouldnt do hdmi. new cpu fixed the issue
