I was wondering if my Mobo was Compatible with the samsung 960 evo ssd m.2

And if it is "compatible" would i get the full speed of it?,And also could I use it as my boot drive as I plan too?

You actually have the x99a sli plus which is a different motherboard than I linked, But from going to the compatibility list on my mobo now https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X99S-SLI-Krait-Edition#support-hdd I see that it is not compatible.

Id say they just haven't kept the list upto date .

Yeah they both have m.2 Gen 3 x4 so I wouldent see why it wouldent work. Its just been really confusing me the past few days because they dont call the m.2 slot m.2 they call it the PCIe. So as my final question it would go right into the m.2, Not the smaller black PCI-EX16 right under it.
