Hi guys. I have just sold my gtx 1050ti Windforce OC and now I am planning to buy a gtx 970 and only zotac dual fan gtx 970 is available here in Karachi, Pakistan.

I have never experienced a zotac gpu. So is it fine to purchase one? Are there any drawbacks of zotac? Please help. Thanks in advance.

As others have said, Zotac is a reputable brand. The real question is how much does the 970 cost in your area?, compared with say the gtx 1060 or rx 470, which would both be newer and have the same performance/slightly better.

If it is significantly cheaper, then yeah, go for it.

I have this exact model you're referring to and have my computer on mainly 24/7(except to shut it down to clean, restarts for updates, things like that) and can tell you they are great cards. It would be worth upgrading to. No problems whatsoever and great for gaming...even in today's gaming market. I run all AAA titles at 1080P resolution at high-to-ultra settings and get mainly the 60FPS to run games effectively. So go for it.

I haven't had any problems with noise, cooling whatsoever with the fans and card. I've had it for almost four years running constantly and the highest temp ever reached was 80c, and that was a heavy stress test for 2 hours. If you can afford it, get it.
