It's the board it has a very poor power phase and thermal design. It's a common issue when you have a 125w CPU mounted on that Asrock. That is why they have this warning on the CPU support list:

"* For cooling the CPU and its surrounding components, please install a CPU cooler with a top-down blowing design."

I have exactly the same problem! After 2 years I got random freezes with my AMD system. Sometimes multiple on 1 day, sometimes not for a few days..

I changed RAM, CPU, MotherBoard, PSU, SSD, Graphic card, Windows 10 fresh install and nothing helped! The pc kept freezing :-(

This is my most important configuration > replacements (Luckily I could return some parts!)

8GB 1600-9 BX Sport K2 CRU > replaced by Corsair RAM 8GB (returned)
AMD FX-4300 3800 AM3+ BOX sold €20 > replaced by the same 30€
Asro 970 Extreme3 R2.0 970 sold €20 > ASUS M5A97 R2.0 €113
XILENCE Office Series 400W ATX23 > Corsair CX450 450W ATX24 €54
Samsung Evo SSD 265 Gb (this one is from my previous pc) > Corsair Force LS SSD €64
Western Digital 2 TB
AMD Radeon HD 5000 from previous pc > AMD Radeon HD 5450 €10 second hand

It can be related to Windows 10 Fall Creatures Update, which makes the computer need more power.

In the end I did a calculation how much Ampere and Watt I need for my configuration. Turns out I have 5 Amp shortage at the 12v motherboard connection. And I dont even have many power consuming stuff in my pc.

Alternate, the Dutch PC webshop said my Xilence power supply unit should be sufficient! It's not :-(

Well, I just bought a new Corsair PSU Corsair CX450 450W ATX24 that has a good surplus on Amperes. So I have my pc up and running again. Lets see what it does now?

All in all I have spend now €231 on computer freeze ! :-( Bummer !!
