PC sometimes won't turn on right away

When I press my power button nothing happens. It has worked fine for some time but then it suddenly stopped working.
If I turn off my PSU and turn it on after a few minutes while hammering my power button my PC will turn on. Once it's on it's fine. I can do whatever I want and it doesn't shut off, not even by rebooting.
I fixed the issue for like a week by rebuilding my entire PC but it just came back. I also tried flashing the newest BIOS. My specs are in my signature.

Solution
Sounds like either your PSU is faulty or your power SW cable isn't making enough contact with the motherboard. Try turning on your computer with the start button on your motherboard. If it starts right away, it definitely sounds like something's up with the power SW cable.

The onboard power button did nothing too. It seems very unlikely that it's a bad PSU though. It never fails while being under load or anything. Everything is fine except for booting up..

Apparently it is the PSU. I tried a different one and then it fired up right away.
Weird thing still is that if I get the PC to work with my PSU, it still works flawlessly..
