Hi everybody....
I am planning to buy a Zotac GTX 970 Dual Fan and this is my current gaming build:

Hp Pavilion 500
Intel Xeon E3-1245 v3 @ 3.4GHz
8 Gb ram (samsung 1600mhz)
500 gb hdd (Seagate)
Corsair VS450

So my question is that can i run a zotac gtx 970 dual fan PERFECTLY (without damaging it)?

Solution

The VS is the worst PSU Corsair offers. I wouldn't even rank it as mediocre. It falls between mediocre and fire hazard grade garbage.

I would NOT get a VS450. VS series is incredibly low quality, built for office PCs that run on no GPU or extremely low-end ones. The recommended power requirements are 500w, although I'd say a decent quality 450W would get the job done.

I can only recommend CX450M, and preferably CX550M if you're on a budget. Any PSU lower quality than that will be questionable at best.
