System specs:

MB: Intel DH61WW (Not great I know. Next upgrade I am planning for.)
Current CPU: INTEL Pentium G620 @2.60GHz dual core
New CPU: i5 3570 @3.4 GHz Quad core
RAM: currently 4gb upgrading to 8gb at same time.
Windows 7 premium 64bit (yes I know but I prefer windows 7 and will stick with it as long as I am able to.
Graphics: GEForce 1050ti

BIOS Version: BEH6120H.86A.0020.2011.0218.1538
I realize you most likely don't need all of that but gonna post it all anyways.
SMBIOS Version(Not sure if relative): 2.6

I have two HDD. One is slave other is C drive.

There is a newer version of the BIOS but I read elsewhere that if you don't have to update (flash?) BIOS then you shouldn't... So do I need to? Could you tell me how you know, if you looked if you looked online etc. Thanks!

I'm learning more stuff about my computers every day! I have come a long way but still don't know everything so please be kind. I want to learn and if you can explain why or why not it will help me understand more. Thanks!

The minimum BIOS versions you need for each CPU can be found in the link here:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005588/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards.html

With your G620, you have at least BIOS v16, and you'd need 42 to support the 3570.

While yes, if you don't *have* to update your BIOS for support/functionality reasons, then there's no harm in avoiding it..............but you need the latest BIOS to support the new CPU.

As for the BIOS version, I can't decipher what version that would be...... doesn't match the naming conventions listed.

Download/run CPU-Z. Under the "mainboard" tab, what does it show as BIOS revision?

If it's not 42 or greater, you're going to have to update, yes.

Solution
First of all, your BIOS Version is BEH6110H, not BEH6120H as you wrote.
Second, based on the numbers I believe your current BIOS is version 20, and you need at least version 42 to support 3570 (see here: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/desktop-boards/DH61WW.pdf). So I think you need to update it. You will find all BIOS files for your board here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21188/BIOS-Update-BEH6110H-86A-
