Hello everyone,
Recently I've been noticing that my hard drive makes one single click/snapping sound every 10 minutes or so then a "krrk" sound few seconds afterwards. Is it failing? This started to show up after installing an SSD and a new OS, on the SSD for sure.

Here's a video clip to help you know the issue better

*UPDATE* It turned out to be my Toshiba 1TB drive that's making the click, not the Blue WD. This click was being caused by a built-in APM that forces the head to park every few minutes, and somehow windows power options cannot disable this feature. I found a very simple fix to this issue by doing a Registry trick.

Solution
There's also a setting in windows that can shut down a drive after some time. Control panel > Power options > Change plan settings > Advanced > Hard disk - Turn hard disk of after....

Hello again, thanks for replying.
I tried that, yet the click still occur. I backed up everything to my other 1TB HDD... I feel it in the air lol, my WD might be breathing its final breathes atm but what puzzles me is that all performance tests show excellent results
