Upgrade to I5 7400, i5 7500, or stick with Pentium.

Hey guys.
Im going to upgrade my pc in late February and im wondering if i should stick with my current CPU (intel Pentium g4560) ir upgrade to a core i5 and if i should upgrade, should I upgrade to 7400 or 7500.
I will be using my pc for gaming and appart from cpu, the specs will be gtx 1050ti ASUS strix,
8gb ram.

always upgrade to the biggest baddest CPU you can afford (and fits you motherboard). An i5-7600k is the obvious gold standard (and in the real world, new, it's only...only he says...$30-40 more than a 7400...). If you're a risk taker (I am...and so far, so good) and a little patient, you can get a used i5-7600k on eBay for right at $150.

And if you think the i5 is cheap, there's always the i7-7700k...

(BTW...always buy the "k" version if you can afford it, even if you're not going to overclock it: it's simply better silicone)
