I was looking at buying a Hyper 212-evo (http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-evo/) for my Corsair Spec-01 case (http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/carbide-series-spec-01-red-led-mid-tower-gaming-case).

The spec-01 has a "maximum cooler height" of 150mm. I assume this means the distance from the processor to the clear glass panel. As far as I can tell from the diagram on the coolermaster site the cooler is 77mm in that direction. I am uncertain of this however as maybe corsair mean the vertical height of the cooler (if it was installed in a tower case).

A number of youtubers and reviewers seem to think that the Hyper-212 has a height of 159mm and therefore in theory should not fit in the case. This would only be true if Corsair meant vertical height. I am confused at this point to what dimension is height.

Thanks for the information guys. I will think about the Hyper 212 Evo in light of Zerks information and especially since the Cryorig H7 is quite a bit more expensive than the Evo in my country. I must also think about clearance to allow for two large graphics card as well. Many thanks again.
