why is it i have 4 threads running at 100 and the other 4 running at 85. in aida64
specs
cpu: i7 820qm 1.78GHz base... turbo 3.0GHz (never gets past 2.0)
gpu: 6970m not oc'ed
ram 8gb ddr3
os/ WIN 10
aleinware m15x
150w power supply
it used to turbo 2.0GHz on all cores. (4hrs ago)
temps:
never gets above 50c
things i've tried
-disabling speed-step
-power down
-running on battery temperately (sometimes works for gpu not going to 1.1v)
-unplugging everything that uses power.
