Mouse without borders connection

Hello.

I want to connect 2 computers in 1 monitor and I want to use 1 keyboard and 1 mouse. I found out about the mouse without borders program, but I don't know how I can connect the 2 computers to each other first. Can it be done via same router? I have windows 7 on both. Looking for a short guide

installation is very easy.here are the simple requirements :
* both in the same router network
* both have the same version of the tool
* just input the digit code once it detects your other PC (this is a one time)

for your case just switch the display input of your monitor to go to the other screen.

By connecting them to the same router, I have to do something else in order to 1 pc connect the other? I mean about windows settings or something. Thanks a lot for the response

its automatic, man. just install and run it on both your PCs. let the magic happen. if it doesnt detect your other PC, then you will need to turn on your Network Discovery feature in both your PCs if it was disabled.
