Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to buy motherbord, processor, RAM. Actually I'm a gamer so can anyone please suggest me a good processor, RAM and Mother Board ? My total budget is 471.90$

I'm currently using:-

GFX: R7 250 1GB DDR5

I have decided to buy
i5 8400 is it good ?

intel, because of the motherboard and RAM prices does not seem viable unless you halve the RAM or get an i3.

I'd pick the i5 8600K. I'd use the Cryorig H7 with it because it doesn't come with its own cooler. A proper 370 board like https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813144115 is necessary for k sku CPUs.

the i5 8600k's 6 cores would be better if gaming is the only concern
the Ryzen would be better if the budget is a concern. the boards for 8th generation are all premium boards at the mo. adding to the intel tax.

My total budget is 471.60$ or 30,000/- INR for CPU, Mother Board and 16GB RAM. I'm really confused which i5 generation should I buy or maybe ryzen. Please suggest me so that I can able to use atleast 5 years without any issue.
