I have an Early 2015 Mack book pro 13 inch retina. i installed windows on to it and gave windows the largest partition i could but its not big enough to install solid works, so i need to upgrade my storage .i was looking at THIS however i dont know if solid works will be abel to run well enough to use, i have also looked at upgrading the storage in the actual laptop but all the ssd's i have looked at are really expensive and dont know what ones to look for, any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance

solid works for PC requires depending on the version http://www.solidapps.co.uk/blog/2015/10/changes-to-system-requirements-for-solidworks-2016/

so basically ;
RAM 8GB or more and 64-bit operating system recommended
Disk Space 5 GB or more
Processor Intel or AMD with SSE2 support. 64-bit operating system required

Video Card Certified cards and drivers;
on this last oine you have to go to http://www.solidworks.co.uk/sw/support/videocardtesting.html and input the video card you have and it will tell you the answer if it is supported.

if you qualify then it should run just fine on your MacBook

as for SSD, what are you running now ?
