Inspiron 1520/Vostro 1500 AHCI f6 Drivers?

i'm currently on windows xp with my inspiron 1520 laptop. I'm going to reformat and install windows xp again, now i got a faster SSHD and would like to use AHCI mode. I would like to slipstream the AHC f6 drivers for the inspiron 1520 into the installation. However i've been googling and i can't find it. Doing google search leads to dead links and some links to intel that drivers that are not compatible..

Does anyone have the AHCI f6 driver for the inspiron 1520 or know a link to a compatible working one? THAnKS alot!

I don't see any either. I would try installing Windows on to the SSHD with AHCI disabled in BIOS. If that works, I would try installing all the drivers inside Windows and then enabling AHCI and see if it works.

Your only realistic choice is go to the Dell website and view which drivers are available for that model.
If there are drivers they will be there in the Dell archive.
Install the Dell driver manager first. Then it will load and install drivers from that website.
