hello everyone,

I bought a fx 8350 with a realy bad motherboard last year, now im stuck with that for while. there are almost no am3+ motherboards in stock anywhere, so i cant get a good motherboard.
But today is saw that AMD made a cheap crappy Cpu which runs on am4 and i tought: what if i buy that cpu with a b320m motherboard and 4gb ddr4 ram i will just end up with something which only costs me 140euro, then i can upgrade to a ryzen 5 cpu later.
sounds like a good idea?
or do you guys know something else for that price?

i am sorry if my english is a little bad, im dutch so forgive me for that please
ps if you need more information about my pc or anything, just ask

Yes that would work fine, sell the 8350 & DDR3. Just be aware you cannot overclock on a A320 motherboard, only B350 & X370. Also while 8gb is more preferred for system's nowadays 4gb will work as long as you limit what you have running in the background (pretty much nothing besides what's required for the game such as Steam/Uplay/Origin).

I would go with the Ryzen 3 1200, no APU as long as you have a graphics card.

Why upgrade if you will end up with one of the apu's which are worse than your 8350. Just wait until you have enough for a b350 + 8gb of ram and a new ryzen+ cpu (or get an old one for cheaper).
